About the project

Grizz set out to address a common staffing challenge in veterinary care. Clinics needed a better way to post open shifts, while veterinarians and veterinary assistants needed an easier way to find and apply for available work.

GrassFed Development helped turn that idea into a clear product design for two connected user groups: clinic teams managing shifts through a web experience, and veterinary professionals searching for work through a mobile experience. The goal was to make each step feel simple, focused, and easy to understand from the first use.

What we did

  • GrassFed Development created product designs that reflected Grizz’s branding and were refined through client feedback. The experience was built around clarity, with straightforward screens and workflows that avoided unnecessary complexity.
  • For clinics, the design included tools to create, manage, approve, reject, and remove shifts. Clinics could review applicants and make the final decision on who worked each shift. For veterinary professionals, the mobile experience made it easy to search for open shifts, review key details, apply, and track opportunities in one place.
  • One important design consideration was deciding how much information to show at each step. The interface needed to give users enough detail to act confidently without making screens feel crowded. The team prioritized the most important information up front, with additional details available when users needed them.
  • The final design work gave Grizz a practical, intuitive visual foundation for its veterinary staffing platform and helped bring the client’s product vision to life.
